Megster is 8!

Megan turned 8 yesterday.  It's crazy to think that my second child is now 8 years old!  On her birthday, I took the kids out to The Tiki Hut and got sno-cones for everyone and then later we went out to dinner and then to the mall for her to get her ears pierced.  She's on happy kid!  The festivities continue as we have friends over and prepare for her baptism on the 30th!  What a great 2 weeks are in store and what a great 8 years we've had with our little Nut-Meg!

John Day Fossil Beds and CaMpInG

Jon wanted to take the kids on a little outing and of course, I threw in "let's go camping".  So, we combined the two and off we went.  Here are pictures of the scenery and our camping site/mosquito smorgasbord:
