I just have to take a minute and brag about myself. I don't do it very often, ok, sometimes I do, but I am SO proud of myself!
I just finished my Financial Matters in Health Care class and I am so glad it's over! It started out a little rocky grade-wise. It was hard to understand what my teacher wanted and understand the material. Over the last 9 weeks, I've managed to recover my grade and at the beginning of the last week I had a 95%. That meant that what I got on my finals during the week could either keep me at an A or drop me to a B.
Well, the first part of finals and my participation grade were at 100% for the week, it was just up to my final PowePoint Presentation that had to be about a fictional hospital and all of the financial "mumbo-jumbo" with budgets and cost control and such. Way too confusing to really sum up. I did what was required and really hoped that I would get a some-what decent grade.
Yesterday I went into my online classroom to look and see if any grades were posted. Sure enough it was there. I cautiously opened the final hoping for the best and fearing the worst. Turns out my teacher LOVED it! I got a perfect score on my final presentation and was even told that I need to put my profeciency in Microsoft Word PowerPoint on my resume. Who knew that my Education Technology class I took over 7 years ago would pay off?!?!
SO....
My grade went from a 95% to a 96.4% overnight! I am so proud of myself! It also means that if I can get an A in my current class, I will finish this semester with a 4.0!!! I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!
Ok, I'm done bragging now! Back to homework.......

Montana
Big blue skies, mild summer temperatures, mountains, clean air....a few things I love about Montana.
The kiddos and I decided to take a trip to see Grandma and Grandpa Anderson and spend a week with them. We came over Tuesday morning and so far the kids and sometimes me, have: mowed the lawn, roasted marshmallows, went fishing, rode horses, played in the creek, done a little shopping and the week is only half way over.
Hopefully we'll get some pictures taken, but it's been nice to sit and relax and not have any real worries. I just miss my hubby! It's hard to go a week without seeing each other or having him in the room to talk to. Just a few more days....

Recent Events
Ok, I'm a blogger slacker.
I could have bet money that something would have interrupted our Insane workout schedule and I would have made BIG BUCKS! Jon and I both had serious allergy/sinus attacks and it became so hard to breathe that we couldn't keep up. Jon did better than me, so YAY for him! I started back on my Wii Biggest Loser trainer and my other Biggest Loser video workout and am feeling pretty good about it.
Jon was called to be the 1st counselor in the YM's presidency at church. So he gets to work with the 14 and 15 year old boys at church. He's pretty excited. He does such a great job with that age group. With his knowledge of the gospel and the way he relates to the boys, he does a great job. I was released from my teaching calling and plan on helping support Jon with all the busy-ness that the Young Mens will provide.
The kids are still growing like weeds! Ethan is starting to talk. He can finish words, but doesn't start them very well. On Sunday I caught him giving Megan "wet-willies" during church. It was very hard not to laugh!
School is out for the summer and we have already taken a "mini-vacation". We loaded the kids up and drove to Montana to see my parents. It was my sister's birthday and we had fun seeing everyone! In fact, the "wet-willy" Sunday was the same day we got up at 4 am (5 am MT time) and drove the 6 hours back to Hermiston to be be at church by 1 pm so that Jon could end up giving the opening prayer, blessing part of the sacrament, being sustained and set-apart for his new calling and teaching the lesson in Elder's Quorum. WOW....Busy!
Next week the kids and I are going to load back into the van and head back to MT for a week. This way we can go back and see all of the friends we missed. Jon will be busy with work and we really wouldn't see him very much so it works for all of us. Just wish Jon was coming too....I'm going to really miss him!
I won't get started on all of the great discussions Jon and I have had lately on marriage and divorce and such. We have an extended family situation that has brought these subjects up and I think it's great that we are being reintroduced to doctrine we've known, but now have a better understanding of. It makes me so happy and thankful for the marriage that Jon and I have. We work daily to make it as great as possible. Some days we slip up, but in the end, we are so much stronger in our relationship by doing the best we can and by helping each other. I love my husband and hope to show him that everyday! I'm so thankful we have each other!
Here's to a low-key, yet somewhat busy summer! Hopefully I will be better at keeping a record of it!

I am INSANE!
I'm not going there, I already have committed myself! My arms are shaking right now as I type this.
I guess it depends on how you look at it actually, this is going to be a good thing.
Jon's cousin Shelly mentioned this work out program to Jon in January and we thought about it but decided not to pursue it. Then about a month ago, a coworker of Jon's decided he was going to start on it. So, I get a text message from Jon one night asking to see how much it would cost to purchase this program. Well, 40% off of retail and 2 weeks later, we are starting our 60 day Insanity workout.
Tonight was just the fit test. I hurt. Plain and simple. I want to go and throw up! We just went through 30 minutes of 8, 1 minutes exercises to see how many we could do. In two weeks we will do the test again and see if we have improved. I hope I improve, but at the same point want to quit right now! I have 59 days left!
Here's hoping I don't die!
