John Day Fossil Beds and CaMpInG
Jon wanted to take the kids on a little outing and of course, I threw in "let's go camping". So, we combined the two and off we went. Here are pictures of the scenery and our camping site/mosquito smorgasbord:
The kids are ready to go again and I'm still trying to get the smell of campfire smoke out of my hair! Until next time...

Where did you guys go camping? It looks like it was a lot of fun! I need to get the guts to go with my little family! I wish I was more adventurous... but maybe when my kids get a little older! Cute pictures. It looks like you enjoyed yourself!
We went to a campground about 90 mins south of our house. It is called Bull Prairie Lake and there is a campground there also.
We had fun, and decided we needed to be a tad bit more prepared with the whole sleeping arrangements and that our tent could fit about 6 more of us (it's huge). The ground was quite bumpy and we weren't as prepared for the temperature drop like we had thought, but it was a lot of fun!
